Philipp L. Rimmler
Philipp L. Rimmler has been a valuable member of the Paul William Beltz, P.C. team since 1990. A member of the Products Liability Department, Phil's practice focuses on motor vehicle defects, machine tool design and toxic tort litigation. He is also well known for counseling his clients in post-verdict and settlement matters, such as estate planning, real estate matters and the use of supplemental needs trusts. Phil has numerous multimillion-dollar settlements to his name, as well as the highest verdict in New York State for a bicycle failure case.
Phil is the only member of the Beltz team that is admitted to practice before all four of the Federal District Courts in New York State. Phil has lectured before the New York State Trial Lawyers Association on discovery and product liability.
Phil studied as an undergraduate at Duke University. He first plied the legal trade in New York City upon his graduation from Case Western Reserve School of Law.
He is a member of the board of trustees of the Elmwood Franklin School, American Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Erie County Bar Association and the Roscoe Pound Foundation.
Phil and his wife, Anne Beltz Rimmler, live in Buffalo with their two children, Philipp Andrew and Sara.
